Derlin has excellent rigidity, impact toughness, abrasion resistance and solvent resistance. It also has a appearance, hydrolytic stability fatigue endurance. It has a low coefficient of friction and hence makes it ideally used as bearings, gears and conveyor belt limits. It is also used in electric kettles, chemical pumps, pulley wheels etc.
